Tours are self-guided and interpretive signs are located in each room. The last self-guided tour will be at 3:30 pm.
Museum is closed to the public during reserved group tours.
Metered parking is available in front along Washington Avenue. Free parking is located across from Alabama Archives and History on Adams Avenue.
The First White House of the Confederacy is a two-story Federal era home constructed in the 1830's. We try to be accessible as possible; however, due to the historic nature of the home only the first floor is accessible. Parking is available at the rear of the museum off of Union Street.
